There are 3 text sizes to choose from. simply click on the + or – buttons for each text size up or down.

Click the light or dark "A" button to change the background colour for contrast.


Website Accessibility


A number of accessibility features are planned for the Abilities Arts Festival website.

In addition, the Festival will be working to ensure individuals who use various readers to access information via the web have access to the Festival website.

Festival Accessibility


Abilities Arts Festival is committed to ensuring an open and accessible festival environment that promotes attendance and participation in festival activities.

Venues
All festival venues are fully accessible with wheelchair seating for approximately 40 individuals available at all venues.

For Individuals with Hearing Loss
ASL interpretation is available at all festival events, performances, workshops and panels. Real-time captioning is also available for specific events. The majority of films screened at the festival are captioned.

For Individuals with Vision Loss
Festival materials including schedules and the program book will be available in alternate formats. Audio-description of the works presented in the photographic exhibition "Exposed" will also be available.

Attendant Services
On-Site attendant services are provided at all festival events.

Ticketing Policy
To encourage attendance and participation in the arts by a broad base of artists and art lovers, many festival events are free. At ticketed events, personal attendants are admitted free of charge when providing support for an event attendee. This must be requested at time of ticket purchase.
