Connections 2 (2005)

About the Artist:
Bhawni Prashad is a 65 year old father of five children and seven grandchildren. He has worked in the manufacturing industry, as well as practicing as a Hindu priest. In January, 2000, Prashad was involved in a serious car accident which has left him with physical and mental limitations.

Since his accident, Bhawni Prashad began taking art and music lessons. "Winter Wonderland" is an example of his work to date.

Artist's Statement:
Before my injury I had no idea I could paint.

I have since discovered that it really stimulates me and makes me very happy. When I see that I can do something so beautiful, I can’t believe that I did it.

I really love to paint. Thanks to the Lord that I came back to do this.
