Artist's Statement:
Two people in wheelchairs were rolling down Main Street and I happened upon them.
I askied if I might take their picture and the man, whose name I did not get, went
into all kinds of contortions. He offered himself up to me and my camera, thereby
exposing his bare chest. His uncovered body was hairless and badly bruised.
When I inquired about the bruises on his ribs, he gave me a far away vacant stare
and mumbled incoherently. He responded to the camera in a flick of an eye, wanting
to brag about the naked tattooed lady on his bare chest.
Obviously, he didn't think about how he would expose his most vulnerable body to
me and perhaps to the world.
