Artist's Statement:
Five years ago the opportunity arose for another series in Freedom Park, Atlanta, GA,
documenting naked people frolicking. The event arose from several people raving on
Artnews, a list serve, on why Spencer Tunnick would not come to Atlanta to create a
nude photograph. I decided to end the talk by volunteering to photograph it.
The first year we met early on a Saturday morning on July 19, 2003 agreeing to keep
the photographs private and only share the work amongst ourselves. We were exposed
by the AJC with an article about the event and my picture in the paper. The article
also ran in the Washington Times and www.clothesfree.com. Since then we have decided
to make the images public and meet once a year to gather and frolic.
