Corpuscle Danse, the first professional dance company incorporated in Quebec, was born of passion without limit as France Geoffroy dedicated over ten years to contemporary dance, exploring the art as a quadriplegic dancer. The mandate of Corpuscle Danse revolves around the creation and production of teaching, in addition to including an interest in integrating disabled people into society, through two separate strands which feed side else: Education & Performance.

Through its fluid, unifying choreography, Corpuscule Danse transforms the wheelchair from an object to an extension of the human body itself.

France Geoffroy and dance partner Tom Casey will transport the audience through the broad spectrum of human states in their breathtaking performance of “Confort à retardement”, a dance choreographed by John Ottman.

Adventure, contemplation, desire, confidence, giddiness and communion, both dancers live entirely in the space; sometimes in absolute comfort with each other, but also at other times trying to tame the unavoidable tensions within all relationships. Experience France Geoffroy’s overwhelming passion and the beauty, power and sensual nature of integrated dance.
