Chris Fonseca is one of the most popular comedians on the comedy circuit. Chris captures his audience through his ability to laugh at himself. Chris uses his Cerebral Palsy as the foundation for many of his stories, turning his physical disability into a positive visual. As he notes, "this helps break down many preconceived barriers both about Cerebral Palsy and about disabilities."

Chris' career has been marked by many firsts. This includes being the first (and only) person with a visible disability to entertain on The Late Night Show with David Letterman, something that had not been done in the show's 18 year history. Chris has been featured as an entertainer on The American Comedy Awards, and as a featured comedian at The Montreal Comedy Festival and in the award winning PBS production, "Look Who's Laughing." He has appeared in nightclubs and on stages around the United States including Washington DC's Kennedy Centre.

As part of Abilities Arts Festival 2005, Chris Fonseca was a featured performer at the festival's evening gala held at the Glenn Gould Studio. During the festival, Chris was also an active panel participant.
