Being a singer-songwriter is something that Justin Hines says is all he has ever wanted to be.

Justin’s career began at an early age when at 14, he sang the national anthem to an audience of 17,000 people, after winning a radio contest to sing at a Toronto Raptors game. Justin also started performing on major telethons. He won a YTV Youth Achievement Award for his original music, and his performance at the show was so powerful that it earned him a Gemini Award nomination for Best Performance in a Variety Program or Series.

Since those early days, Justin has moved from teenage pop prodigy to mature and compelling singer/songwriter. His first single “Wish You Well” off his album “Sides”, received extensive airplay and held as the #1 most played track on 98.1 CHFI Toronto for several weeks. It is also the theme song for the ‘Walk for Miracles’. Hines was recently nominated for the 2008 Canadian Indie Award (Favourite folk/roots artist/group).

Possessed of an unflagging spirit, and whether he is performing his music or simply speaking to an audience, Justin Hines consistently captivates and inspires those around him.
