Libby Thaw

Libby Thaw, is a motivational speaker, writer, and entertainer. Libby, who has
low vision and is legally blind, is also founder of the Checkered Eye Project.
In 2004, Libby was named "Canadian Blind Idol" where she performed a juggling
and musical comedy act. Blind Idol is part of the Canadian Council of the Blind,
White Cane Week activities in Brantford, Ontario. Since winning this award,
Libby continues to participate as a judge. The public has come to anticipate
her cabaret styled event called "The Libby Show" which is an evening of music
and comedy as well as a source of funding for the Checkered Eye Project.
