Christopher Welsh

Christopher Welsh is a brilliant, energetic Canadian Deaf mime artist who is popular in TV and Theatre throughout North America and Canada.

Christopher has appeared on the television show, "DeafPlanet" (TVO) and YTV's Treehouse program. Christopher was the first Deaf Canadian Comedy to perform before a hearing audience at Yuk-Yuk's in Toronto, has been involved in "Comedia Dell'Art", "The Magic Hands" and has also performed with the "Show of Hands" Theatre Company in their national tours. Using pure mine and puppets, Christopher transcends sign language barriers to the delight of children and adults of all ages.

As part of Abilities Arts Festival 2006, Christopher Welsh performed to a full house of children and youth with disabilities at "In Celebration of our Children and Youth".
