Call For Submissions2009 "Projections" Film Forum: The Abilities Arts Festival is seeking works by filmmakers with disabilities that exemplify excellence, innovation and creativity in film. Films that provoke, enlighten and offer diverse perspectives. Films that are innovative and entertaining. We welcome submissions of features, documentaries, or animation films that are either feature-length or shorts. EXTENDED Submission Deadline: July 10, 2009 Download Entry Form as a PDF Submission Rules and Conditions: The festival is open to the work of film-makers with a disability or collaborative works where the creative process has involved artists with disabilities in significant ways. This includes works produced, directed, written or performed by artists with disabilities. • There is no entry fee to submit your work to Abilities Arts Festival’s “2009 FILM FORUM”. • Works submitted in languages other than English must be subtitled. • The attached application must be fully completed and signed. A separate application form must be completed for each production entry. • At least two high resolution digital (at least 300 dpi) or still production photos will be required for publicity and catalogue purposes for all films selected. • If you are sending work from outside Canada, please print on the outside of the package and on customs forms “FOR FESTIVAL PREVIEW ONLY. NO COMMERCIAL VALUE” so no duties and taxes are incurred when the package is brought into Canada. • Preview Tapes must be labelled with the title, running time and contact information. (Enclose a self- addressed envelope, (NOT STAMPED), if you want the preview material returned.) • No cuts or changes in any film will be made by the festival management for any reason. The festival management may choose to show extracts of your film for publicity purposes. • Submission Deadline: July 10th, 2009.
