2007 Performances
From the Gala Evening of performances at the Glenn Gould Studio to the Matinee and informal
performances at the Columbus Centre, the performing arts took centre stage. Music, dance,
comedy, and dramatic performances by professional performers and performance groups from
the United States, British Columbia, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Ontario provided audiences
with the opportunities to see and experience the diversity and richness of disability art
and culture.

Featured Artist:Elaine Stevenson
Elaine's work focuses on the interplay between light and physical environment, be it built or natural.
Schooled in composition and colour by her father, a photographer and jack-of-all-trafes, she chooses
to focus not faithfully representing what is real, but instead upon exploring what cannot be seen,
the space where light and sound become one, where light responds to sound, and sound to light.
